Report from Wednesday Court Appearance

Well I am just back from the Court House and the killers preliminary hearing. As reported on this blog Tuesday morning she did waive her right to a preliminary Hearing. Today the Court Commissioner held up the copy of the waiver of preliminary hearing form that she had signed and asked her if she was the one who had signed it, this was followed by some questions to make sure she understood what she was doing and what she signed.

The process was very quick once the Court came to session we were the first case called. Mikey was well represented in the courtroom myself I held up a picture of Mikey with a cardboard backing for the killer to see well she was at the hearing. Mikey also had two television stations present to cover the appearance both CBS 58 and FOX 6 were in the courtroom and I made comments afterwards in the hall for them well holding Mikey's picture. I have been in contact with the other stations and they will be covering toady's events with some of their file footage they have.

The next court date will be a Scheduling conference in Judge Franke's Court Room 506 of the Safety Building on Tuesday September 16 at 8:30am the killer will not be in the Court Room for this appearance it will be just the attorneys who will be working with the court and it's calender to set a schedule for the case moving forward. As with every appearance in this case no mater how short or small the detail to be handled I will be there to watch over the process and report back with all the details.
